Local Bands Stage Benefit Show for Ithaca Free Clinic, Featuring the Music of Queens of the Stone Age

The Ithaca Free Clinic, operated by the Ithaca Health Alliance (IHA), today announced local bands Vacuoso, Stranded With A Kiss, Spazzare, and Amongst the Monks will perform a benefit show, featuring the music of Queens of the Stone Age, in honor of the Ithaca Free Clinic. The show, brainchild of local musician and IHA supporter Mac Myers, will take place Saturday, November 25th at 9:00 pm at The Haunt in Ithaca. All show proceeds will benefit the Ithaca Health Alliance. “We’re grateful to Mac Myers for organizing this benefit show,” said Executive Director Norbert McCloskey. “IHA has been an important part of the community for 20 years. The Ithaca Free Clinic is now in its eleventh year of operation and has brought free medical and holistic care to thousands of community residents who are unable to afford health insurance. In these uncertain times about the future of healthcare at the federal level, this benefit show will help the Ithaca Free Clinic staff and volunteers continue to provide needed services to the uninsured and underinsured of our community.”

The benefit show line-up includes local musical talents Vacuoso, Stranded With A Kiss, Spazzare, and Amongst the Monks, plus special musical guests. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at The Haunt:
