The SCSA Steel Challenge match occurs the 2nd Saturday for the VCGC Match and the 4th Sunday for First Coast Steel Shooters Match, every month, at the Volusia County Gun & Hunt Club.

Anyone with a pistol or revolver of a caliber 9mm or larger may shoot in the main match. You will also need a holster that covers the trigger guard for centerfire handguns.
There are also rimfire and a PCC (pistol caliber carbine) divisions. Rimfire (pistol and rifle) and PCC starts from a low ready position. You must have a suitable case AND a chamber flag for long guns.
Registration is online, link below, then hit the search button for 'matches' and type Volusia, VCGC Steel Challenge will be below in the menu. If you have any problems, feel free to contact the Match Director.(info below)If you do not preregister and pay online, there is a $5 late fee charged when you register at the match.

This is a STEEL CHALLENGE sanctioned Match (all USPSA rules will apply). There will be 8 stages that will be used in the match every month, and you will need a minimum of 195 rounds to complete the stages. I recommend that you bring 250+ rounds to be safe. You do NOT need to be a member of the gun club or USPSA to shoot.
Spectators are welcome, but guest must sign in, and eye protection is mandatory for everyone. So come on out and enjoy a day of great shooting and fun.
