Margaret Ruth Gurganus, 92 of Athens, died Monday at Athens Limestone Hospital.

Mrs. Gurganus was born February 18, 1924 in Jackson County (Woodville) Alabama, and she was a homemaker.

Services will be 11 AM Friday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel, Athens with Father Charlie Alookaran officiating, burial 1PM at Union Cemetery in Woodville, Alabama.

Visitation is from 10 AM until service Friday at Spry Funeral Home.

Survivors: Daughter: Cheryl Gurganus of Athens, Nephew: Melvin Stephens of South Carolina, Niece: Jacqueline Garner of Tennessee, Nephew: Timothy Garner of Tennessee, Cousin: Jim Rich and family of Athens, God-Daughter: Jennifer Horton of Madison, AL, and a host of other Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
