Description: 

In this workshop, participants in this course will build on their basic woodworking skills, to create their own customized end table. In this course, you will learn to use table saws, router, planer, joiner, sander tools, wood joinery and finishing techniques. Participants will receive complimentary Makerspace Membership to NewMakeIt during the term of the course. Participants should budget for approximately $100 in material fees to complete their projects, which includes safety equipment. Please call NewMakeIt for more details.

Participants will receive complementary Makerspace Membership to NewMakeIt during the term of the class, allowing additional time to work on projects and bolster their knowledge.

This class will be a combination of workshop and classroom. Appropriate safety equipment is required. Participants should budget for approximately $100 in material fees to complete their projects.

This class is classified as “Intermediate”. It’s designed for those with some wood building experience that would like to increase and perfect their skills. Students should have a basic understanding of tools and wood construction. For those that have never completed a wood project, we would recommend “Introduction to woodworking”, our 101 courses.
