Categories were working great until 2 days ago. Something happened and some of my events disappeared. I played around and finally found them still on my calendar through a different view and now I've trying to categorize them. I'm using Chrome and Firefox and they both don't show the same thing. Chrome only shows a custom category of Practices and the other shows all of my custom categories. In fact, I was trying to add them several times in Chrome and they would not show up and then when I went to the Firefox and I saw all of the duplicates I was accidentally creating. Bottom line, I'm trying to get the script code to show a static, Block Style #2 calendar which only shows practices. This is the link in the script code which is generated https://www.localendar.com/public/pscmedia?categories=102&style=M4&include=Y ...but its showing events on the 15th and 16th of this month which are not categorized as Practices. What am I doing wrong or what am I missing? Thx |

Fixed (as well as another non-reported category issue) for the M4 view (perhaps 2 days ago you changed to that format?) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

pcsmedia, I can't keep track of the issue, since you've posted to 4 separate threads and linked back to multiple other ones. Can you please be specific about the problem you are having, and restrict the conversation to 1 thread? My apologies........... I'm using for testing... Chrome 49.0.2623.112 m Firefox 45.0.2 IE 10.0.9200.17609 10.0.35 (yes, I know its not supported, but my company makes us still use it). All react the same way. If you go here... http://www.lbsl.org/calendar.html?BAC Its using an embedded month calendar. Initially, you will see one entry for the BAC category for the month of April. That's correct since its using the 117 filter for BAC. Click forward one month to May - there should be nothing as there actually are no events in this month entered yet. Click forward another month to June - there should be only 3 events for BAC - but I see all events for the month of June. Click forward another month to July - there should be only 4 events for BAC - but I see all events for the month of July. Actually, I believe if there were more events in the month of May, you'd see all of them, because I think the calendar is not retaining the category filter selections past the initial month. -- The initial thread is from last summer. It was working and then broke and you fixed it. This year, its broke again. I haven't used localendar since last summer because our swim team is summer seasonal....so sometime between then and now it broke again. -- I referenced the thread because I thought it might help you remember how you fixed it. -- I think this is the same problem the other person is experiencing...and I just latched on to his thread since its the same problem. -- |

More information....continuing from my last post... I'm using a very short URL with only one filter for this testing. Normally, there are more, but I've purposely kept it as simple as possible. http://www.localendar.com/public/lbsl?style=M4&categories=117&include=Y&dynamic=Y But, If you paste http://www.localendar.com/public/lbsl?style=M4&categories=117 directly in the browser, it works every time. So, it has something to do with being embedded (the "include"? or the "dynamic"? parameter(s)) because it works fine outside of being embedded in a webpage. Only when inside of a webpage does it break past the first month. I hope this helps you isolate the issue. |

Support had suggested and I have tested and agreed, when embedding a month calendar in a site, do not use www in the URL for the localendar address. This will allow the categories to be retained while scrolling through the months. |
