We use the color code field for every item we add to the calendar. When uploading via CSV, there doesn't appear to be a place to add a color code. Is there any way we can import the color code? If not, it'd be great if you added this feature to the CSV import by adding a column/field to the import. Ideally we could import many calendar items at the same time with a variety of assigned color codes.

If you examine the sample CSV file, there are instructions for mapping imported events to custom categories you have created.

Custom categories can have a specific color assigned to them. Would this be sufficient for your purposes?

Does anyone know where the sample CSV file can be found? I'm hoping the 1/18/2017 response is correct and we can really import events with custom category data that will work for color coding.

The CSV import (and sample file) are a little buried (and yes, it does support uploading with custom categories)

Click Import->select File Upload

click the "Import a CSV file" link

The top sentence says "You can download a sample template for this file here", and "here" is the link you want to click.
