I would like the ability to copy and paste the text from a word document straight into the 'Description' box. This would save me having to rewrite the same message to the members of my group.
Thanks
Les

Longsdon:

What problems occur when you try it? I cut and paste into the Description box and the Title box from Word, as well as from other programs, all the time.

Depending on the browser, when you copy/paste from Word, a *ton* of extra styles and garbage can get pasted from the clipboard. This can create a royal mess, as described more here:
http://www.websighthangouts.com/how-to-paste-from-microsoft-word/

There are online tools to address this like https://word2cleanhtml.com/

We used to have a button that would let you do a "paste from word" (and in fact, we still have a regular "paste" button)

However, in recent years (mostly due to security concerns) browsers like Chrome and FF won't allow you direct access (by default, anyway) to the clipboard anymore. So pasting into notepad first or using one of the cleaners above is the best option.
