Thank you for all of your help as we set up our calendars. I sincerely hope that one day it will be possible to have the font color change from white to black or from black to white, depending on the Event color. If that functionality were available, it would open up twice as many color options for events. I have 27 different categories for our various facilities. It's hard to find 27 distinguishably different colors when I have to pick from only dark colors or only light colors. As far as I can tell, this functionality is not currently available. Since I've selected a white font, my Event color coding can only draw on dark colors (lighter colors make the white font too hard to read). |

Still hoping for this enhancement. I know that for our shorter event names I can add html, but it seems that anything more than a dozen or so characters is too long to add a font color code. If I'm doing something wrong--and it IS possible to set the font color for any event category--please let me know. Thank you! |

It's a good idea, and something (despite no post from us yet) is something we are contemplating. The challenge is to not mess up the font colors that either a member has chosen under Options, *or* any colors they may have set via a font or span tag in their event titles. Plus - there is the question of implementation. There is a simple CSS technique that would be perfect. But... not supported in IE, Opera, or Android. That points heavily towards a Javascript solution, but we need to make sure their isn't a performance hit, or annoying "flash" visible to users. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
