How do I take away the choice to give submissions a background color. Visitor's are making my calendar look like a circus because they want their event to stand out. Currently we only want Our Own Events to have color. I tried just going in and changing the color but some of them changed and some of them didn't.
Is there a way to take the option away from visitors?

Not presently, but I think the potential situation here goes beyond just background color.

Once a visitor finds they can't pick a bg color.. they may start putting clipart instead. And once we take that away, they might also try inserting custom HTML into the title (we filter most of the obnoxious stuff out)

If you have some method to hide the bg color, would you want to hide clipart as well?

Issues like this are why we have the option "Visitors may add events, not visible until I approve". This give you the option to change events before they are shown on your calendar.

As you may be aware, you can also view all events submitted to your calendar by signing in and navigating to https://localendar.com/calendar/submitted. This page makes it easy to approve/reject events in bulk. Perhaps we should add an option on this page to reset all events to a default color and remove any clipart?
