By default all clipart images are left-aligned. However, all the images a member uploads have a common reference path. For example, your telephone image is at: http://www.localendar.com/upload/CT-GalaTeam/phone2.jpg So, if we *don't* add it using the "Add an Image to this Event" section, we can instead add it to the title ourselves, and thus get it between the "centering" html you added. The final result is: <center><img border=0 src='http://www.localendar.com/upload/CT-GalaTeam/phone2.jpg'/><br/>Team Calling</center> ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

That was back in 2009, and I believe the reference was to the clipart shown on the event title. The position of clipart in the event title is automatic depending on the calendar view (unless you want to use custom HTML) In the event description's Rich Text Editor, if you include an image (small tree icon), there is a drop-down for alignment. You can also click on an image to edit the alignment later. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Reviving an old subject... We have tried to add images to the events title but it looks pretty bad on the calendar overall view. Ideally, the image would be top right with the event time and title next to it. Is there something you can do to help? We are using cobrand calendars. What is the url of our image? |

Marc:
Are you talking about the Description: on the Options->Edit Event page? On mine there is an icon (doesn't look like a tree) which says 'Insert/Edit Image'. There is no alignment option. There is only Dimensions option. Right clicking on the image takes you to the same place. Harry |

I am talking about the " Add an image to this event" which appears in the calendar general view, not image in the description. |

OK. You are talking about on the Add Event page, not on the Options->General page. The only way I know to add it is how Marc mentioned several years ago: <center><img border=0 src='http://www.localendar.com/upload/CT-GalaTeam/phone2.jpg'/><br/>Team Calling</center> I can't find the method he mentioned a couple of posts ago, which is why I asked him to clarify what he meant. The images you place in an event description (via the Insert/Edit toolbar button) have settings for alignment. Similarly, any images you place into the event title (say, using custom html) can also be "manually" positioned/aligned with CSS. However, the "Add an Image to this Event" images cannot have their alignment changed. Think of them as event clip art that always appears in the same place. These images cannot be moved b/c the various calendar layout formats are all designed to show the event clipart in specific location(s) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
