StoryFest

This event is for adults and teens 14 and older, the Guild offers an evening of stories at 7:00 pm, Saturday, October 12, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1400 W Stadium Blvd., Ann Arbor. Tickets are $15 per person ($10.00 for students) with good parking, free snacks and door prizes. Storytellers include: Jane Fink, M.C. Beverly Black, Steve Daut, Jane Fink, Lorelle Otis, Jennifer Otto, Rich Swanson, and Tom Venable.

Family StoryFest

As part of this celebration of stories for everyone, there will be a Family Fun Concert for kids 4 and older and their families from 2:00-3:00 pm, Sunday, October 13 at the Ann Arbor District Library, Traverwood Branch, 3333 Traverwood Drive. Admission is free. Co-sponsored by AADL. At 8pm, the Michigan Playwright's Festival will be hosing a reading of a play by AASG member Catherine Zudak at Theatre Nova, 410 W Huron Street, Ann Arbor

Monthly Meeting

Monthly meeting of the AASG Open to the public.  This Month we are at the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre's Studio, 322 W. Ann Street, Ann Arbor. We will beging this month's meeting with short talks by Brian Cox, Director of Pencilpoint Theatreworks, and Breeda Miller, professional speaker and author.

Come on out to Serendipity Books in Chelsea for a night of chills and thrills. The telling starts simple and small with not-so-scary stories for kids. The stories slowly become more scary and MORE ADULT as the night progesses. Stay if you dare, but BE WARNED! Things get pretty creepy around here.
