    BRG Public Announcement: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

    Dear Black Rep Family,

    In response to heightened concerns relating to the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and in keeping the health and well-being of our audience, artists, community, visitors and staff our top priority, the BRG will not hold any events, effective immediately until April 8th.

    We will reopen on May 8, 2020  with the opening of 'Respect' a stage play about incidents in the life of the amazing humanitarian Aretha Franklin. The BRG will be reaching out to ticket holders for all events in the coming days.

    The Black Rep is in constant prayer and hopes for the containment of this Coronavirus and the healing of all impacted here in the Bay Area and beyond.

    We will continue to monitor information from the Center for Disease Control, Alameda County Public Health Department, City of Berkeley and the California State Department of Health and will adapt our protocols as directed.
