'Traveling Mercies' with Melba Evans

'Traveling Mercies' is a phrase we often use in prayer or say to someone leaving on a journey- asking for divine protection, safety and grace. It asks for safe arrival, freedom from accidents and care for travelers rooted in the idea of God watching over our comings and goings. It also refers to a 1999 memoir by Anne Lamont on faith. This Sunday, let's talk about what we mean by 'Traveling Mercies' not just on our physical journeys but on our spiritual journey as well.
