We like our Green mountains to be clean mountains. Help us keep them that way on Saturday, May 4th. Green Up Day is a Vermont tradition that started in 1970, and our friends at Miso Hungry want to help us keep that tradition strong for our Jay Peak team.

Join us on May 4th in the Stateside Parking Lot starting at 9a, in front of Clips & Reels. Mimi Magyar will be onsite with location assignments, gloves, bags, and maps, so we can help clean up our local areas and places to play.

The first 75 folks who fill a bag of roadside, trailside, or swimming hole litter get a FREE lunch from Miso Hungry. Their road-ready ramen ride will also be onsite from 10a - 2p, serving participants who return with a bag of picked-up litter. Thank you to Miso Hungry for their generous gifts in exchange for greening up.

Bring your own pole; bait provided

NorthWoods is happy to announce the Shane Copp Annual Youth Fishing Day! This event is an opportunity for kids and families to try their luck in catching (and keeping up to 2) recently stocked brook and brown trout. Let’s Go Fishing Instructors will share anglers’ tips and techniques. The fishing is for the kids, but parent supervision is required and participation encouraged. Bait provided. Barbless hooks required; we’ll have extras here. (note – you can make a barbless hook from a barbed hook with a set of pliers!). If you’d like to bring a catch home, bring a cooler and a ziploc bag.
