Acoustic slow jam at the Metamora Grist Mill, traditional songs that are widely known, beginner friendly

In case of inclement weather the jam will move to the MPA Opry Barn on Pennington Rd

Chainsaw artists from around the midwest carve for the weekend at various locations around the village

Carvers begin on Friday and carve on Friday and Saturday, finishing up on Sunday morniing

On Sunday afternoon the pieces created that weekend are offered at auction

During the event artists have items for sale at their carving stations

Memorial Day Celebration

Come honor our past and present solders along the canal by the car bridge at 2 p.m.  This event has been happening every year since the Civil War.  There will be speeches, song and flowers provided so you can throw them in the canal in remembrance of all who gave their life for us.
