Put on your red, white and blue and come to Metamora for our 'I love Metamora's Patriotic Day'. At 5:30 PM, starting at Gateway Park, which is across 52 from Metamora, the parade lineup will begin. July 6th at 10 p.m. the Metamora Voluntary Fire Department will be putting on the Fireworks Show at Gateway Park. This is located across Hwy 52 from Historic Metamora. Bring your lawn chairs and coolers and enjoy the show. |

Canal towns deal with everything water! And in Metamora, we can see evidence of that in the mills, aqueducts and dams dotted along Whitewater Canal. In this class, children will use crafts to recreate these fantastic feats of engineering. Price: $10/non-members; 25% discount for members |

Enjoy a guided walking tour of the historic Whitewater Canal in Metamora. This 30-minute tour will focus on how instrumental canals such as the Whitewater Canal were to early America in transporting people and goods. Participants will also learn about the importance of the Duck Creek Aqueduct bridge. Price: $7/non-member adults, $5/non-member youth (ages 3-17), $2/member |
