Tune It! Tuesday - jam session w/ Phat Man Dee

Join Phat Man Dee and friends in music on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Black Forge Coffee House in Allentown, Pittsburgh, for the jam session!

All ages, $3 cover unless you are coming to sit in!

Every Third Tuesday for the past 2 1/2 years, Phat Man Dee has hosted 'Tune It! Tuesday', a community oriented, intergenerational, musical jam session. It is for all ages, and the house band features world class jazz musicians with the ability to back up singers, instrumentalists, poets, and spoken word artists of all genres. This month’s jam session features Phat Man Dee as host, with musicians Carlos Peña (guitar), Miguel Sague III (conga) and Eric Dowdell Jr. (bass). All are welcome to come sit in with these professional musicians, perform original compositions, experimental works, poetry, hip hop, jazz standards and cover songs!

This series is supported by Love My Neighbor grant from Neighborhood Allies, Drusky Entertainment, and the PA Council on the Arts.  Mandee is honored to help amplify the voices of new performers, seasoned professionals and artists looking to explore new work.
