She'll report what she learned about Iranian culture, the effects of the U.S. sanctions on Iran, and more. Tea and Iranian sweets will be served.
Amber Gilewski is a Professor of Psychology at Tompkins Cortland Community College. She traveled on an Interfaith Peace Builders Delegation to Israel/Palestine in 2015 and for the SUNY Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Stevens Initiative to Egypt and Lebanon in 2017.

Starting with 50 students in 1998, Hand in Hand now has six campuses and over 1850 students, and is making a growing impact in Israel for Jewish-Arab partnership and coexistence. Ithaca Area United Jewish Community is pleased to be hosting Lee Gordon in his visit to Ithaca.
