Folk Songs of the First World War

World War I folk songs, poems, and stories will be performed by Adam Miller of Drain,

 

Oregon on Tuesday, April 25 at 12 noon at the Moline Public Library, 3210 41st Street.

 

One of the premier autoharpists in the world, Adam Miller is a renowned American

 

folksinger and natural-born storyteller. Miller accompanies his rich, resonant baritone

 

voice with lively finger-picking acoustic guitar and stunningly beautiful autoharp

 

melodies.

 

This program is part of World War I and America, a two-year national initiative of

 

Library of America presented in partnership with The Gilder Lehrman Institute of

 

American History, the National World War I Museum and Memorial, and other

 

organizations, with generous support from The National Endowment for the

 

Humanities. Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2153, 1721 7th Street,
