Computer and Internet basics hands-on classes are being offered at the Moline Public
Library, 3210 41st Street. Each class is limited to 6 students with no prior computer or
Internet usage experience.
Computer basics class, Monday, September 18 at 12:00 noon, will cover terminology,
mouse and keyboard basics, opening and closing programs, creating a word
document, and saving.
Internet basics class, Thursday, September 21 at 6:00 PM., will cover terminology, web
browsers, searching techniques, along with creating usernames and passwords for
online accounts, and safety tips. Email will not be discussed. Participants must have
basic mouse and Windows skills.

limited to 6 people per class.
