Re: Removing default categories normally, I would agree with you about the settings staying put. However, if you have multiple windows open in the same browser, and you are trying to impersonate different "roles" (i.e., user and admin), then localendar may get confused. That's because behind the scenes, we only keep 1 session for you, and you are essentially asking it to be different people at the same time. What I typically do is keep 1 browser (ie Chrome) open for my "user view" when I am testing, and another browser (ie Firefox) open for my admin view. Many sites (including Google) have this same limitation.
