Easter not a Christian holiday?
I work for a church and we use your program for our church calendar. When I have the "Christian events" selected, it does auto populate 'Good Friday, Maundy Thurs, Palm Sunday, Christmas, Christmas Eve' but not Easter.

The only way I've found to get Easter on the calendar is to select the "General" holidays which includes "mother's day, valentines, income tax due, april fool's day, etc'. Our calendar is crowded enough in April, we don't need "income tax & april fool's" added to it.

It would be great for our circumstance if you could add "Easter" to the Christian events.

Thanks for considering this!

Re: Easter not a Christian holiday?
Easter, like Christmas, is both a secular and religious holiday. That's why we have them in the "General" list.

If we added it to the Christian list and the General list, it would appear twice for members that have both categories selected. I would suggest you manually add it to your calendar if you don't want to include the General holidays.

Re: Easter not a Christian holiday?
Thank you for your response. Yes, it would be bad to have it appear twice. I'll manually add it to my calendar.

Re: Easter not a Christian holiday?
Related to this issue, I see solutions of adding events, but there is a difference to an added event and the way a holiday is included Events can be clicked on, info displayed, etc. I want the holidays to look like holidays. We are building a multi-faith calendar and since you won't have all of them would like to enter them, but not have look like normal event entries. Any ideas?

Re: Easter not a Christian holiday?
It's true; the default holidays we include are treated a little differently. But we also can't support multiple holidays across different categories because they would show up as duplicates.

I'm afraid the custom event or including the General category are the only options we have right now for getting Easter on your calendar (each with the particular issues you note in your posts)
