street address field autochanges my entries to elswhere.
Hi, when I enter postcodes into the street address field in the 'edit event' form they frequently get auto-changed to a different postcode, and even a different street address.

for example see
http://www.localendar.com/event?DAM=PublishedEvent&m=370119&event_id=10172&calendar_id=370119&more_info=N&export_date=Oct%2027,%202014&category=7

I have entered the same address into both fields but the localendar has autochanged the street address to a different, incorrect one.
You can see that the former address is valid on the library website, which has its own google map link to the correct postcode.

Re: street address field autochanges my entries to elswhere.
Hi, I think we may have worked around this issue. If we enter the postcode alone, without the street address, it keeps it.

So basically the tack now is to enter the venue and address into the top location field and the postcode alone into the 'street address' field.

It's still confusing to new submitters. Hopefully google maps will start to find its way around the UK eventually.

Yeah - I think this issue has come up before. Basically, Google provides one level of address verification to people that use their API, and a *different* (most would say 'better') level of address verification on their public maps website.

Some users just have the "lucky" situation to have addresses that sort of fall in the blind-spot between these two different services.

Happy you have found a workaround for now.
