Reminders I set up my email as default email for reminders for my account in Options email list1. I have been setting up a different email in email list1 in the event itself. Does one have priority over the other or should I be getting reminder emails for both? I'm thinking that maybe the account default reminder overrides the event reminder... Thank you, Jay |

Re: Reminders Hello Support, In addition to my above question, it seems that the reminder emails are hit or miss kind of thing as far as being received.. Looks like it just started this month in May.. If you look at my calendar, I set up a couple of test 1 & 2 events on Friday the 20th for the 20th and the 23rd. As of Saturday, 21st, 9:37pm, mountain time, I haven't received any of the reminder emails. Is there anything you can see?? Appreciate all your help... Jay |

Re: Reminders Our email infrastructure has been under a lot of attack from would-be-spammers recently. We've set up and tested an alternate environment recently that seems to be delivering reminders (and other emails) correctly without issue. If you still have problems, let me know and I'll put a test event on your calendar with both of our addresses. (also, both email fields on the event editor receive equal priority) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Reminders Hi Marc - Thank you for your response. I will have an event that I defined last month for May 26th. It is for myself. If it works as normal I should see the reminder email in about 8 hours, about 1AM on May 24th mountain time. The other concern since I use so many emails in my calendar, can you confirm that they are secure from hackers?? Very important.. Thanks, Jay |

Re: Reminders Hi Marc - I did not get the reminder for the event I had set up for the May 26th. In the past I would have received it early this morning. Please go ahead and run any test you need to do... Thank you.. Jay |

Re: Reminders I did receive the message in my inbox today at 11:15AM (EST) "Event reminder : localendar Reminders Test at 9:30 AM May 26, 2016" Out of curiosity, is there another email address you use that we can try? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Reminders Hi Marc - I setup a test with my name at 1:30MT 5/26 with 15 minute reminder. I used both my emails: jdpayne51@comcast.net and jdpayne51@gmail.com. Did not receive anything to my Comcast email. DID receive the reminder to my gmail account right at 1:30pm.. What now??? I use Localendar to send out reminder emails to many different people using many ISPs.. Thank you for your help. Jay |
