I asked about this maybe a month ago and can't find it here. Never heard back.... so once again my question.

Using WordPress plugin with my Calendar inserted, can I get rid of the LoCalendar references at the bottom just below the search button?

I don't know anything about WordPress, but you can eliminate the RSS and iCal links in Localendar.

You can also remove the Powered By Localendar link with a Premium Cobrander subscription.
