Print Button
I am subscribed to Webmaster Premium. My printable View button is showing, but no print button on that view is available.

How are people supposed to print their calendar?

Thank you

Re: Print Button
Can you post a link to where you are sharing your calendar?
I visited https://localendar.com/public/cks-la and the print button is there (and functions correctly)

Re: Print Button
Here is a link to the web page:

http://cksla.org/calendar/

Yes the print button works from within Localendar. It does not work on the client site.

Also at the bottom of the calendar listed above the iCal icon does not show correctly.

Re: Print Button
It works fine for me on your site. Are you running some type of pop-up blocker?
Also, the reason the ical and rss links don't display correctly is that your site defines a global setting (bad practice) for the <img> tag
style.css, line 11:
img {
max-width: 100%;
height: auto;
}

We've forced the 2 icons for ical and rss to specify max-width:none (not our favorite thing to do - battling with a site's style sheet) but you might still want to address that setting as it might cause other display issues.

Re: Print Button
Thank you for forcing the image tag issue. I appreciate it.

Regarding pop-up blocker, yes I am running one. I disabled it and reloaded the page and I still do not have a "Print" button on the "printable view" window when run on my site. See image below:

You say when you go to my site you see the "Print this Page" button?

Thank you

Re: Print Button
Hello Marc,

I'm still looking for a solution on this. I'm getting pressure from my client to get this fixed.

Re: Print Button
Ah - I see the disconnect here. I thought you were asking about the "Printable View" button that appears at the bottom of the calendar (which does show at cksla.org/calendar/)

What I now understand you are asking about (thanks to the pics) is the button a the top of the pop-up that comes up after you click the one in the calendar's footer.

We actually never have had the "Print this Page" button on that view - the intent was to allow the user to select the Print option from their browser's pull-down menu to initiate a print operation. However, it looks like some browsers are now neglecting to show that feature.

When you are signed in, that is actually a different "printable view" page which does have the button. Don't ask me why we made 2 different pages for essentially the same feature - we just did smile

It does make sense that we should have the button on both versions of the page, so this will be released almost immediately, and you'll be all set.

Re: Print Button
It's actually been there for about a week now (I also just confirmed it's on your calendar). Have you had a look?
