shock   News: localendar and email messages
Many members have had issues recently receiving emails from localendar. These may be for forgotten passwords, event reminders, or notifications of new events being added to a calendar.

Dropped mails can be caused by a number of things (a message, after all, travels through many computers before it gets to your in-box). ISP filters and personal spam filters can also be at fault.

Reccently, however, persistent problems reported by a number of users have forced us to take a critical look at any possible causes stemming from issues on our side.

Using the tools at http://www.dnsreport.com , we were able to execute comprehensive server and mail tests on localendar.com

(We also checked a variety of spam lists via http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ip4r.ch?ip=localendar.com)

I'm happy to report (with one small change pending), that we receive a clean bill of health from these sources. I am sure that some of the cleanup we did will contribute to more users getting their emails.

If you still experience problems, please post a message to the General Discussion forum, and we will do our best to help diagnose the issue.
