Public versus public for local events When we post events as public on our calendar...will it be visable to everyone including their mother, or would people need to know our calendar's web address to see it? We wanted something we could post playdates, birthdays etc to remind our members via posting a weekly events list on our website (that is password protected) but didn't want it where everyone in the entire world could see it and was concern that by posting it on the calendar here...it's still visable to everyone or is it currently just visiable to those who know our web address and so long we dont' hit public for local events so ANYONE can look up our events and see what is happening. |

Re: Public versus public for local events You are correct - as long as you don't click "Publish" (not public) it doesn't appear in our searchable directory. Public events are visible on your calendar's public url, so anyone that knows that url will be able to see them. You could also purchase a Premium subscription which would allow you to password protect the entire calendar. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
