Access and restrictions for sharing Question- if I purchase one of the premium programs and I allow access to others to place additions on a calendar, can I restrict them from then deleting what they have entered? Thanks Laurel |

Re: Access and restrictions for sharing The premium package will allow you to password-protect the calendar, but it doesn't allow you to give other members edit rights. The only way to do this currently would be to share your id/pass (not recommended) What you could do is have the other users create their own [free] calendars and then merge them onto your own w/ a Premium Basic subscription. Although they could add/edit events as they so choose (and only on their personal calendars, whose events would appear on yours) With Premium Webmaster, you could turn on Anonymous Event Addition, which would allow *anyone* to add a new event from your calendar's public view (http://www.localendar.com/public/LaurelFountain) You could choose to have these events display immediately, or for you to approve them before they appeared. No one but you would be able to perform any further changes (or deletions) of the events added in this manner. Hope that helps! ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
