How to merge calendars?
We're trying out the calendar -- looks like we'll probably pay for premium services, if I can figure out how to make them work. I'm having trouble finding any directions for how to use the merge function. I'd like to merge several managers' calendars into a master calendar for all to see.

Re: How to merge calendars?
You'll need at least a Premium Basic subscription on the master calendar (let me know if your trial ran out)

Click the Premium tab, then the Merge button on the left menu. All you need to do is add the localendar member names of the calendars you want to merge. All public events on those calendars will be displayed on the master.

Re: How to merge calendars?
Does every calendar being merged have to subscribe to premium services or just the master calendar?

Re: How to merge calendars?
Just the master calendar. "Mergees" do not require a subscription.

Re: How to merge calendars?
In regards to the mergees, can they still view the merged master calendar on their calendar?

I am the reservation scheduler for tours at a lighthouse and we want to allow employees/volunteers to view the master schedule (pensacolalighthouse w/subscription) and add items to their calendar (lighthouseworking) that are then automatically added to the master schedule for review. This is so two separate groups do not schedule events at the same time (a ghost hunt in the middle of a wedding just would NOT be a good idea)

So, when I've tried to merge the two calendars, both accounts tell me the calendars are not public and cannot be merged.

Re: How to merge calendars?
If you've password protected a calendar, then it cannot be merged onto another calendar. You can make the calendar public under Security (premium menu tab on the localendar menu)

If the calendars were public, then each could merge the other and you could even color code the merged events differently for each calendar.
