Re: letting viewers search calendars for different topics
We are working on providing better calendar-specific search, as well as custom tags for tagging events with multiple "categories"

Re: letting viewers search calendars for different topics
Hi,

Has there been any progress on this feature?

Re: letting viewers search calendars for different topics
Tagging was not implemented in favor of letting users create custom categories for events. Calendars can have a public search enabled, under Options->General:
"[x] Include "Search" button at the bottom of your public calendar view"

..and event category type is part of the results. Specific categories are currently not part of the search criteria.

Calendars can also be filtered by publishing only events within specific categories (see Publish Wizard) or displaying a category filter legend on the public calendar (
Searching by specific event category type on Search (click Edit Categories on the Event Editor page)
