Embedding A Calendar I'm trying to embed a calendar on my webpage. I copy and paste the HTML code provided from localendar. However, when I insert the HTML, the code appears on my webpage as text. There is no calendar present. Any suggestions? |

Re: Embedding A Calendar I'm guessing that you're using an editor like FrontPage that has a tab for Text and a tab for HTML. Most HTML editors work in a similar fashion. If you paste the HTML while working in the "Text" view, the editor will create a "viewable" version of the HTML on your page. If you paste it on the "HTML" tab, the actual HTML will be pasted and the calendar will display as you'd expect. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Embedding A Calendar I'm using Dreamweaver for my editor. I selected the "Code" option in Dreamweaver and pasted Localendar's HTML into this area. However, it appears as text when I view it through a browser. |

Re: Embedding A Calendar Make sure you are using Dreamweaver's Paste HTML command, and not just a regular paste. Otherwise, Dreamweaver will convert the HTML on the clipboard into viewable text. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Embedding A Calendar
Have done this successfully, but part of the bottom row of the monthly calendar is cut off. I have tried increasing the size of the "Layer" but to no avail. I also don't know how to get the calendar layer centered horizontally on the page. Liz |

Re: Embedding A Calendar For more info on size options with the "fully interactive" embedded calendar, please see this thread: http://www.localendar.com/lcf/lcforums/viewthread?thread=32 Also, regarding horizontal layout, that depends on where you place the pasted HTML. For example. to center it, you might consider placing it between a pair of <CENTER></CENTER> tags ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
