Trying to see if it is possible to push updates notificiations (link to the calendar) to Twitter and Facebook.

We're not doing anything special for twitter at the moment, but you can subscribe to the calendar's feed in Facebook (and vice versa: http://www.localendar.com/docs/display/lc/Importing+from+Facebook+into+localendar)

There are a variety of tutorials for importing RSS into Facebook, here's one that I found on Google:

We have discussed posting updates to Twitter as well, so your opinion there is appreciated.
