events on a published calendar
Is this possible? I would like to have a shared calendar that others could post events to that can be shared within our group. I would also like to be able to embed the calendar on our website, but I don't want to include all the shared events posted by the group; I want to be able to pick and choose specific ones.

Re: events on a published calendar
You can allow visitors to add events to a public calendar.. check:
http://localendar.com/docs/display/lc/General+Options
(see the section titled "Allow visitors to Add Events")

You can configure this so that only events you approve are displayed. And of course, we offer a variety of ways to include your calendar on your website:

Re: events on a published calendar
This is just perfect for what i need. IS it possible to change the text on the submit button and customize which details we collect on an event?

PS. Can we make the email they input automatically fill in for the email alert?

I'm happy we are close, but I can't help you with those last 2 customizations. For the email, we have no way of knowing who they are, which is why they have to fill out the field each time.
