WordPress plugin... ready to go! After numerious requests (and a lot of patience on your part) we can announce that the localendar WordPress plugin is ready for release. We are just waiting for the plugin to be approved and added to the WordPress site. For basic installation/usage instructions, please see this page on our wiki: http://www.localendar.com/docs/display/lc/WordPress+Plugin ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: WordPress plugin... ready to go! That's great news! Is there an anticipated date of release? How will we know when it's available? Just keep checking back? Thanks! |

Re: WordPress plugin... ready to go! We have submitted it to Wordpress and are waiting for their approval (technically, we could let people download it now from localendar, but we'd rather see everyone get it from the WP site). And, Yes - we will announce it here, on the homepage, the Announcements forum, and with planes trailing banners over major cities ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: WordPress plugin... ready to go! Am getting an error message after adding the widget. localendar.com error: [Invalid URL] Calendar '' could not be located. Would like to have users be able to enter their events on an interactive calendar. |

Re: WordPress plugin... ready to go! Did you supply your member logon (CTPandS) on the plugin config screen? Can you paste the code the plugin generated? You should see something like: [localendar username="membername" type="full" style="mb" hide_events="false" ] where "membername" is your localendar member name. Allowing visitors to add events will require a Premium Webmaster subscription (after your 30 day trial of this feature expires) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: WordPress plugin... ready to go! I have embedded the calendar in a post but the formatting seems to be gone. All the text is aligned left instead of being centered. Here is the link: http://www.walktall.ca/?page_id=29 |

Re: WordPress plugin... ready to go! Tx - we'll have a look. What is happening is that your CSS theme is overriding some of the localendar CSS. We try to reset CSS rules just for our calendar, but we still come across WP themes that do stuff we weren't expecting. The more examples like yours we get, the more we can bulletproof our stuff. I'll let you know when to check it again. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
