How can I upload an RSVP link from the merged calendar? The link works in source calendar but not when transferred over. |

I've looked at the ical feed you are importing: http://vivo.ical.backagent.net/?aafac7de-2c1f-4ce1-a8bc-713650fb021b The links are being exported as plain text (not html). At this time, we do not auto-identify potential links in iCal imports for highlighting. If a website exports an iCal (ics) file with HTML links included, we will support that. I am not sure if your source program provides this as a setting or option. I should note that when you mentioned "merge" I thought you meant merging in another localendar calendar. In this case, we do preserve embedded HTML. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Furthermore, by uploading the ICS file does it automatically update when changes are made to the original calendar? If not, what would be the solution? |

I think you may have misunderstood my answer. What you are doing now (linking to an ICS file over http) is the preferred method. If something changes in that source file, your calendar will be automatically updated. However, since your ics file does not provide HTML around urls (they are just plain text) localendar does not highlight them either. I was only mentioning that if your site did include the HTML around a url (or any other HTML formatting for that matter) we would show it and not strip it out. Perhaps in a future release we will auto-identify and highlight urls, but at present we do not. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
