Could you set up a comparative stats area?
Example:

Sites having 0 to 100 Members
Sites having 101 to 500 Members
Sites having 500 to 1000 Members
Sites having more than 1000 Members

You could insert site's name or indicate a total number of sites that have attained that membership.

It could give us incentive to reach the next level or even communicate with the sites to share marketing strategies to help boost membership.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion!

First, I think you're discussing something that applies to Cobranders rather than Webmasters. Only cobranders give their users the ability to create the own calendars (members). Webmasters who put localendar on their site don't necessarily have members who sign in, just people who drop by to view the calendar.

That said, even though this report is technically possible, I don't think we'd create it. It sort of skirts the whole Privacy area. Cobranders might not want people to know how many members they have. And providing an "opt out" option just gets cumbersome. There are so many other enhancements we need to work on (like these forums wink )

How about having a graph that would indicate the total number of sites with those stats.

Example :

2 sites have 50 to 100 Members
0 sites have 101 to 500 Members

You would not have to mention the sites by name, only the number of members enlisted.

It could stir up the competitive juices...give us a goal for which to strive.

Yup - and I'm afraid that this didn't even get a priority crying

As I mentioned, there are a lot of things in the queue already, and we just can't commit to something like this right now. That's not to say we won't make any user-suggested enhancements. But all the privacy issues around this one mean as much analysis work as actual coding. Thorny items like this one tend to receive less of a priority than "low hanging fruit"
