When I use the fully interactive embedded calendar, half of the dates don't show up,neither do many of the lines (using block) and the arrows don't advance either way.

Most of the time, these problems are caused by things being done in the WP theme, and this case appears the same.

On your mini-calendar on the right, I notice the pop-up event balloons are being clipped when you click on a date that has events. There is some CSS in your theme that is causing this to happen:

style.css, line 193
remove the "overflow:hidden line" to fix this issue

On the full calendar, it appears that the jQuery used on your theme is knocking out the jQuery used by localendar (they should get along better, actually)

We'll see if there is anything we can do on our site to make it work with your theme. For now, I would suggest using the iframe or non-interactive include style.
