Hello, I can not get the rss feed to validate in FeedBurner. Here is the link to the feed generated from my calendar: http://www.localendar.com/public/pendleton-gazette?style=W3 I am utilizing the calendar via your new WordPress plug-in. Thanks, George |

It appears you have added some custom html to this event's description: South Madison Monthly On WEEM (91.7 FM)in Pendleton, Indiana (PHHS) (July 15) This is what is causing the feed to fail (I used http://validator.w3.org/appc/) Script is normally fine; but the validator seems to think there is an unbalanced tag. You might want to either remove that particular section, or double-check the code that you pasted. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I have removed the 'custom HTML' from the WEEM Post(s). Still getting the same results in that FeedBurner will not accept feed (http://www.localendar.com/public/pendleton-gazette?style=W3). Copied from Feedburner Identify Feed Source Back to My Feeds The feed URL you entered is: http://www.localendar.com/public/pendleton-gazette?style=W3 We could not find a valid feed at that address. Here are some possible reasons this might have happened: Is the feed valid? Confirm its validity now. The feed your site already creates needs to be “valid enough” to work with FeedBurner. This post from the FeedBurner Help Center explains why technical validity matters. Are you using the URL of the web page or the URL of the feed? FeedBurner is usually able to "auto-discover" your feed from a web page, but in this case we didn't find any related feeds. You may want to enter the URL of the feed directly. Is the URL is misspelled or a copy+paste action didn't work? If that's the case, please try again. Thanks, George |

I'm still seeing some mismatched tags: I can look at that and see the tags match up, but the W3C validator (and probably feedburner) does not. This is still on the original event I posted about (on Jul 15). I took the liberty of removing this code from that event: // Only to find out that it exists on another event (on Thu, 19 Jul 2012: Read n Feed). If you remove it from there (any anywhere else) you should be in better shape. I can give you a tip for how to get this function to work correctly using the "Common Event" information under Options->Events. Remove the code from all your events and paste it there and I think you'll be fine (if you really want this script on your calendar) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Got it (Finally). Found out that I have to remove the AddThis script via HTML mode in order to fully clear it from the calendar entries. Calendar feed now in FeedBurner with a Twitter BOOST. Life Is Good! Thanks for sticking with me through this issue; much appreciated. George |
