For me it would be very helpful that when I go to search and find an event I would like to save as copy the calendar would go directly to the duplicate event. If it was a year ago you have to go all the way back to the month of orgin to make changes

So you are saying after you "Save as Copy" for an old event, you have to navigate back to that time?

There is a small "Jump to" field on the left menu (underneath the mini calendar) when you can enter something like "Mar 2012" or "3/12" or "3/1/12" to easily jump to a specific period.

I do see that button but it seems to me if you do a search and find your event you want to "save as copy" most of the time it would be time saving if it went right to the month and day of the event you are copying.
