Trying to make our localendar mobile friendly. so far no luck. However, I did trying embedding the mini-calendar - odd thing is i can see it in my preview of mobile site (using dudamobile), put when I publish it I cant see it all all. Has anyone tried making mobile friendly with the mini calendar? What are people doing to make their calendars mobile friendly? It is imperative that these calendars become mobile friendly, if you up on it, it will be more common for people to be using mobile phones for interenet browsing very soon.... |

There are a lot of different calendar views, some of which will work better for different target platforms than others. For a mobile device, I suggest any of the list views. For example: month list: http://www.localendar.com/public/SQnj?style=M1 week list: http://www.localendar.com/public/SQnj?style=W1 day list: http://www.localendar.com/public/SQnj?style=D1 and the popular "Today + Happening Soon" view http://www.localendar.com/public/SQnj?style=D2 (you can generate the HTML to include them on your site using the Publish Wizard). For the best compatibility across multiple devices, I recommend the "static/non-interactive include style" It also looks like you have set your text color the same as the bg color (black on black) making it kind of impossible to read your event titles. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
