Hi, I am using an embeded static calenadar on my website in a small space, and I would like to remove the RSS and iCal icons to save room. Is there a way to do this? Also, I would like to get rid of the words "All Day" on events marked as All Day if it is possible Thanks |

There is a page in our docs just for you! http://www.localendar.com/docs/display/lc/Hide+the+RSS+and+iCal+links But we currently do not have a way to hide the "All Day" link for events. I will pass the suggestion along to our developers. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Hmmm.... It doesn't seem to be working. Maybe I am not doing it right. Here is what I have. http://www.localendar.com/public/websitename?include=Y&style=D1&rss_link=no&ics_link=no ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by roswelloracle at Feb 18, 2013, 4:10:22 PM] |

Try http://www.localendar.com/public/sample?include=Y&style=D1&rss_link=false (say 'false' instead of 'no'; I've updated the docs) Also, you only need to specify rss_link. ical and rsslinks will both be hidden. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by support at Feb 25, 2013, 1:54:49 PM] |

4 Years later, This really "Should" be added to the Tips & Tricks page for this so we don't "have" to search for this answer. It works though, I appreciate that, but add it to your docs when things like this are actually something that has to be set specially for the List views. Would save your users (especially those of us that have paid for this) some time having to research something that should be already in the obvious place :/ |

I went to the docs to see how hard this was to find... I typed "RSS" in the search box and "Hiding the RSS and iCal links" was the first result. I clicked the page; it's already in the Tips & Tricks section if you expanded the contents on the left nav. I had it added to the title page as well. "Search" is your best friend if you are looking for something specific. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
