How is the Insert/Edit Anchor tool on the Add Event toolbar intended to be used? I cannot find an explanation of it anywhere. Thanks! ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by EDAC at Mar 2, 2013, 12:06:47 AM] |

HTML Anchors are used to create links inside a page to another location inside the same page. For example, you might have a very long entry, and at the bottom you would like a link called "Back to top". At the top of your page, you would insert an anchor called "top". It won't be visible to the user. At the bottom of the page, you insert a hyperlink, and you point it to #top (not that it's the anchor name preceded by hash sign #) When the user clicks the "back to top" link, they will jump back to where the anchor tag was placed. More information about anchor tags within pages can be found here: http://www.echoecho.com/htmllinks08.htm ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Thanks! Don't know how you keep up with all the questions! Might be good to add the explanation to the Help file (or maybe I just couldn't find it). Just a suggestion - no reply required. Thanks again! |
