Under General Options/Show More/Happening Soon, if "Include Event Descriptions" is checked, the WordPress Plugin does not display anything. It creates this line: [localendar username="edac" type="full" style="th" hide_events="false" ]. However, it DOES work in WordPress if "Include Event Descriptions" is NOT checked in our Localendar options. Outside of WordPress, if I go to http://www.localendar.com/public/edac?style=D2, I get a great listing of our Today plus Happening Soon Event listings, including pictures and full description. So I do believe it's a problem only with the WordPress plugin. |

I just changed my calendar to show event descriptions on that view, went to the wp plugin, and dropped it in. [localendar username="sample" type="static" style="th" hide_events="false" ] and it worked great. [localendar username="sample" type="full" style="th" hide_events="false" ] worked fine as well. Seems you are having some strange browser behavior based on your other posts. If you want to post a link to your WP page where you included the calendar, I'd be happy to take a look. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I am using IE 9.0.8112.16421 and Chrome Version 25.0.1364.160 m (both are the most current, I believe). I have tested with both browsers. I had removed the Today + Happening soon, since it doesn't work at all, but have added it back in so that it's not readily accessible. You have to go to it directly from this link: http://www.eldoradoartscouncil.org/calendar/happening/ or else use the navigation at the very bottom of the screen. Thanks for taking a look! |

Played around some more, and tried it on a different computer, and it is still true that for Happening Soon, the calendar renders fine if I leave the option "Include Event Descriptions" unchecked, but if that option is checked, nothing except my title shows (nothing at all from Localendar). The instruction generated by the plug-in doesn't change at all based on the option; only the behavior. This is making me a little crazy! Could it be something in the style sheet for our WordPress implementation? If so, I can contact our web people. Could it be some odd combination of other Localendar options? Not sure what you can tell from looking at the page where nothing shows... |
