The "Sun Mon Tue ..." headings appear garbled in our WordPress version (see http://www.eldoradoartscouncil.org/calendar/ ) but appear fine in a full web page (seehttp://www.localendar.com/public/edac?style=W1 ). In WordPress it looks like the number dates are displaying on the same line as the days of the week, which causes the garbled appearance. Help please? |

Have you made some changes to your site since this post? I looked at your link in both IE and FF and can't see any display issues. If you are still having the problem, can I ask what browser/version you are using? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I am using IE 9.0.8112.16421 and Chrome Version 25.0.1364.160 m (both are the most current, I believe). IE displays correctly. Chrome shows the garbled version. Went back and undid some of my recent changes, and discovered that (wait for it ...) changing the style of the arrows on the calendar changes where the date numbers appear on the Month & Week List calendars and also Week Block view. Really! Only in Chrome. Depending on the arrow style selected in Options, the date numbers appear either above, below, or right on top of the Day of Week abbreviations. Sounds like a bug in Chrome to me, but do you have a comment or suggestion? |

Strange. If you want to set up a test page for us to look at in Chrome which exhibits the issue, we'll take a look. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Try this link: http://www.eldoradoartscouncil.org/calendar/week-block/. If I view it in IE9, the dates appear UNDER the days of the week. If I view it in Chrome (version 25...), the dates appear OVER the days of the week. If I change the arrows to the purple ones (4th selection), the dates display fine in IE, but in Chrome they appear right on top of the Sun/Mon, etc., giving a garbled appearance and making the numbers not visible. If I select another arrow option further down the list, the dates appear UNDER the days of the week (but still not where they do in IE). Could be Chrome, could be our website using WordPress, but the results are consistent and repeatable (well, for me at least!). |

Actually, it looks incorrect on all browsers now that I look at it closely. Just more incorrect in Chrome In your wordpress style.css, try commenting out the 2 global settings for vertical-align:baseline ; at lines 14 and 351 ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by support at Mar 16, 2013, 3:01:34 AM] |

That solved it! BTW, your customer service is incredible! Such personal, detailed, effective, and timely responses are amazing! Keep in mind I am a WordPress user who is familiar with a little HTML (and no more), so your responses are even more appreciated. Please forward to other important people at Localendar (please do this and don't be modest - I used to work in customer service - you are amazing). |
