Edit this Post   Would iCal merging be the time for a html problem fix? Reply to this Post

Like many I like this calendar, but the inability to turn on/off html in the description area, when merging to other calendars is a real problem. Is there a parameter that can be added onto the iCalendar string to remove html?. There seem to be parameters to turn on and off other parameters in the calendar itself so I am interested to see if this is an option or if one already exists, but is just not publicized.

If this is not possible can there be two different link url's for a calendar. One that will send iCal info without html in the description area when linked to and a second (slightly different) that would send out the same description but with html? You would pick the proper one for the calendar you wish to export to.

Any hope here?

HTML in iCalendar can be an issue

Are you asking about calendar info exported from localendar, or iCals imported into localendar?
