In your documentation, it states that I will see Google ads on my unpublished calendar for the free account, but it is placing ads right in the calendar page blocks (days) which looks very unprofessional. It also states it will go away when the calendar is published, which is clearly not the case.

Can you please explain without using the same response about upgrading to a premium account? I want to try it out and see if it works for in my professional business!

All members receive a free 30-day trial of Premium Webmaster, so that was a great time to check out all those features. I've activated it for you for another month.

The docs state

Free subscriptions are supported by Google ads which appear on the various public calendar views.

and also

About localendar ads
Our free service is supported by ads displayed on published calendars, which may contain one or more small ad sections provided by Google. These ads are customized by Google based on your calendar content.
With any premium subscription option, all ads are removed. The result is that you'll have a faster, more enjoyable experience from our service.

In no place does it state the ads will go away when the calendar is published. Actually, the ads are only present on the published calendars (see quote above) and not when you are editing the calendar. Please also note that the ads appear in different locations or the different calendar views (also mentioned above)

Marc, thanks for the specific answer and references.
It answered questions that I had, too.
