On each calendar item, the title is a link...that leads to a localendar landing page of sorts. Can those links be pointed to landing/information pages on our site? Generating links from the body/description in a calendar item works OK. But, not the titles.

Is this behavior intentionally designed? Am I missing something?

If you want an event title to go elsewhere (instead of the event pop-up) then you have to code the HTML link in the title directly.

For example:
<a href="http://www.yahoo.com">This event jumps to Yahoo!</a>
