smile I successfully merged the Google calendar over but now every event that I had set up in Google as a repeat event is showing twice on the LocalCalendar version ...

Say I have an event that happens every Friday for 5 months ... I set it up to repeat in Google. The event shows up fine in LocalCalendar every Friday ... TWICE ...

Is there a way to remedy this or do I just need to take those repeat commands out of Google and enter those in ONE at a TIME?

Thanks!

Could you give me an example of dupes?
For example, I saw what appeared to be a duplicate event on May 30: Old Town Market 5-8pm. But each event actually has a duplicate description.

I checked the raw iCal file from Goole, and both events are in that file. If you deleted one on Google, we have seen numerous instances both at localendar and other places online where user comlpain Google does not update their iCal field immediately after the calendar was edited.

Sure!

take a look at today's events:
http://www.youryc.com/#!calendar/c207a

Now look at my google calendar - they are not duplicated there

It's only happening on the merged events.

Am I going to have to manually re-enter all of the events to keep this issue from happening. I like your calendar but I'm getting ready to remove it.

As I said, the problem is with Google not keeping up with the ics file it exports.
Yes - they update their published calendar instantly, but they don't update their feed instantly.

As I noted, the events are in the feed twice. There is nothing we can do about that. You'll find this mentioned in various forums:

No calendar can magically do more than what the feed provides
