I'm a subscriber and use a lot of links on my calendar. Sometime after Nov. 2nd (last time I successfully had links), something seems to have a problem. I'm not able to edit previous links nor create new ones. I sent a support request with no answer. Anyone else having this problem? |

Do you mean links in the Event Description? Could you be more specific about what you're trying to do? To create a link, you highlight some text in the description, then click the Insert/Edit link icon on the Description toolbar. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Yes, I know how to make links, have done it probably a few hundred times, but for some reason, they aren't showing up now. On links from previous dates, if I hold my cursor over the link, the link title shows up and the link will work, but if I try to edit the link, the pop up edit window is blank. If I save as copy to another date, the links follow to that date, but I still can't edit them, the edit pop up is blank. If I try to create brand new event links from new description texts, I can fill in the pop up edit box with what I want, but it doesn't save the links and the description text in the calendar (after clicking on the date event) has no links associated, just text. I hope this describes it. Thanks |

Got it - so you're having an issue with links in the description. Nothing has changed on the editor from our side, so I would always suggest clearing your browser cache first: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache Can you give me the date/title of an event where the links aren't working as you expect and I'll have a look. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I cleared the browser cache with no change. I did see where I could right click in the description field and select "inspect element" which brought up an html code editing window. From there I was able to create what I wanted for Nov 16th from saving a copy of what existed for Nov 2nd. This is a way around the problem, but no where as easy as it is supposed to be when the editor window works. As I had stated, the last time it worked correctly would have been when I did what I have for Nov 2nd. Just to be clear, my previously created links (Nov 2nd and before) that were made using the link editor, now show nothing in the editor, but are there. Thanks. |

It is working now. Did a bug get fixed? I got to wondering if it had anything to do with the new Internet Explorer. |

Nope - no changes here. Sometimes, it can be a problem where your ISP is caching files and even if you clear your browser cache, they continue to serve you up something stale. Still; there haven't been any recent changes to that section of the site. Pls let us know if it creeps up again. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Ok, when I said it was working this morning it was at work with IE9. Back home again with IE11 and it doesn't work. Looks like the source of the problem is maybe the update to IE11. |

Yes, this was an IE11-specific problem. It would also have prevented you from editing the description in HTML mode. Both issues have been corrected. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
