I would like to be able to create a list view, and choose the number of days in that list view, and be able to imbed both the standard calendar and list in my website.

We don't support an "n" number of days list view, but with the Today+Happening Soon view, you can customize the default "look-ahead" period to either
1,2,5,7,10,15,20,30 or 60 days.

Click "Show More" under Options->General

Of course, this view can be added to your site just like all the others (see the Publish Wizard)
